The gradual autocratization of Central American countries – its causes and consequences – was the focus of a research symposium at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, featuring Prof. Mariana Llanos and Alina Ripplinger, M.A. from German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA), as well as Assoc. Prof. Karel Kouba and Dr. Radek Buben from Center for Ibero-american Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University.
