Biography
Alejandro Cozachcow is a Postdoctoral Researcher (MSCA-CZ OP JAK) at the Department of Latin American Studies (OLAS-CenMAS). His research focuses on the challenges contemporary democracies face in promoting the political inclusion of young people. He currently leads the project Voting Age Reforms in Latin America and the Caribbean, examining the expansion of electoral rights and youth participation across the region.
Alejandro holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and a Political Science degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), as well as an MA in Social Sciences from Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento (UNGS), Argentina.
Research interests: Democracies, Latin America and the Caribbean, Youth Studies, Youth Policy, Youth Participation, Citizenship, Electoral Reforms, Political parties.
