Invitation: Roundtable on Iran and the Middle East at War

Tensions in the Middle East are escalating significantly. An Israeli-American strike on Iran at the end of February killed several political and military representatives of the regime, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran responded by shelling targets in Israel and other countries in the region, Hezbollah has also become involved in the conflict, and the fighting has spread to Lebanon. According to the latest reports, the attacks in Iran have already claimed more than a thousand lives.

What are the objectives of the attacks on Iran?
What is the current situation inside the country?
What impact does the conflict have on other states in the region?
What are the risks of further escalation?
